Related LCC Future Business Leaders qualify for Nationals Related PSU senior raising money for Native literacy PITTSBURG, Kan., — In a springtime rite of passage since 2003, every sixth-grader in Crawford County gathers in Pittsburg's Memorial Auditorium to complete what has become an integral part of their education. Pittsburg State University's Dr. Mark Johnson, known as “the memory guy” for his ability to learn and memorize hundreds of names in minutes, launched the program in 2003 with three classrooms. Tuesday morning, 685 students graduated from the 20th annual Crawford County Youth Leadership Program.
