SEKRPC director briefs county commission

GIRARD, Kan. — Matthew Godinez, executive director of the Southeast Kansas Regional Planning Commission (SEKRPC), spoke with Crawford County commissioners on Friday about the recently awarded $800,000 Safe Streets for All (SS4A) grant. According to a press release, SEKRPC was “the lead applicant” for receiving the grant. The funds are to be used to develop a safety plan for the 12 counties that make up SEKRPC (Allen, Anderson, Bourbon, Cherokee, Coffey, Crawford, Labette, Linn, Montgomery, Neosho, Wilson, and Woodson).
