PITTSBURG, Kan. — People were in a giving mood, this year, propelling the Community Foundation of Southeast Kansas (CFSEK) to a record $283,147 on Match Day, held on Nov. 28. The gifts, spread across 43 nonprofit organizations, allowed CFSEK to take advantage of a $70,000 match pool from the Patterson Family Foundation, raising the day’s total to $353,147 raised. “It is always humbling to see the incredible generosity of so many people in our community,” said Devin Gorman, CFSEK executive director.
