HUMBOLDT, Kan. — On Monday, The Kansas Bureau of Investigation announced the discovery of unidentified human remains found outside of Humboldt. The KBI and the Allen County Sheriff’s Office are conducting a death investigation after remains were found Saturday evening near Humboldt. At around 5:30 p.m. Saturday, March 18, a man who was searching for antler sheds called 911 when he discovered what he believed were human remains.
