GALENA, Kan. — To provide people with an enchanting weekend, Cherokee County Arts Association will present Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella Enchanted Edition directed by the Pittsburg High School Theatre Director Breanna Clark and featuring two local actors at the James C. Christman Performing Arts Center in Galena. Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella is a musical twist on the classic fairy tale and was specifically written as a production to be broadcast on television in 1957 starring Julie Andrews. It was remade in 1965 and 1997, and evolved into the Enchanted Edition as it was adapted for the stage.
