PITTSBURG, Kan. — A fundraiser that raises scholarship money for local high school students is scheduled for Aug 8. The 9th Annual Brandon Smith benefit will be held from 4:30 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8 at Frisco Event Center. During the event, patrons can enjoy a full meal catered by Chicken Mary’s, bid in a silent auction, and listen to live music provided by the Bourbon County Revival, a cover band based in Fort Scott.
