PITTSBURG, Kan. — Thursday morning, the Pittsburg Public Library (PPL) opened the holiday season with the four C's — cocoa, cookies, carols, and the Carters. A large crowd filled up the conference room at the library for “A Cup of Christmas,” featuring a special Christmas reading as well as carol singing with Diana and Phil Carter. PPL Adult Services Librarian Carol Ann Robb started the event by giving an emotional address regarding the event’s history.
