Conservation district lowers budget at a cost

GIRARD, Kan. — Mark Lehman, Crawford County Conservation District chairperson, met with county commissioners at their regular meeting on Tuesday to discuss budget proposals. According to Lehman, there is some good news and some bad news. The good news is the county is responsible for $10,000 less this year because of increased spending from the state.
