PARSONS, Kan. — The Parsons Police Department has announced several arrests over the weekend, with department leadership expressing frustration at the criminal justice system for its apparent inability to keep repeat offenders off the streets. One incident involved a vehicle theft on Sunday. A red 2004 GMC Canyon with Tennessee license plates was reported stolen, with the victim stating he had come to Parsons to attend his mother's funeral and then take her belongings back home.
