GIRARD, Kan. — In an effort to address the ongoing obstacles the Crawford County Emergency Medical Services (CCEMS) has when collecting outstanding payments, Jill Warford, CCEMS billing supervisor, and Randy Sandberg, CCEMS director, had a meeting with county commissioners Friday morning. According to Warford, CCEMS is required by law to make three attempts to collect outstanding payments. Warford said a billing statement is sent every month.
