Excerpted stories in Crawford County newspaper archives 100 Years Ago Dec. 12, 1923 About 200 persons attended the football banquet for the Manual squad, held at the cafeteria of the Teachers’ College last night. There are 22 letter men who will receive the crimson “K” for their season’s work. There was an excellent dinner and an interesting program, in which Coach G. W. Weede, Coach John Lance and students were called upon by the toastmaster, President W. A. Brandenburg.
