Excerpted stories in Crawford County newspaper archives 100 years ago November 15, 1925 Charles Fowler, former justice of the peace at Mulberry who disappeared Sunday, Oct. 25, while he was under subpoena as a witness in the Carl ouster hearing, is back in Crawford County. Fowler arrived in Girard this afternoon from the north, alighting from the Oil Flyer, Frisco train which operates between Kansas City and Tulsa. The former justice was seen on the streets here after leaving the train.
