GIRARD - Workers from a Kansas City, Mo., company are expected to arrive in Pittsburg Tuesday to start salvaging items from the former Lanyon-Mousny house at Seventh and Elm streets. Crawford County commissioners Friday signed a contract with Antiquities & Oddities, which was awarded a $5,885 bid last week to perform interior salvage work on the century-old red brick structure. The county plans to eventually raze the building to make way for more parking for the new judicial center building under construction next door.
