Excerpted stories in Crawford County newspaper archives 100 Years Ago Oct. 7-9, 1923 Favored by good weather, booths arranged in good taste and meritorious entertainment, Pittsburg's first annual industrial exposition opened auspiciously last night. It was a delighted happy throng which crowded Broadway for more than two hours after the windows had been unveiled. Fully 20,000 persons viewed the display windows at one time or another during three hours the street was kept clear of vehicular traffic.
