Excerpted stories in Crawford County newspaper archives 100 Years Ago Nov. 4-6, 1923 The chances of Pittsburg to have a modern six- or seven-story hotel building seem to be favorable, according to the report made to Chamber of Commerce directors by O. L. Stamm, chairman of the hotel committee, today. Mr. Stamm reported that his committee is now looking for a suitable location for such a building. In his opinion, it will be possible to begin actual work on the project by next spring.
