Excerpted stories in Crawford County newspaper archives 100 Years Ago Aug. 16, 1923 The Kiwanis club is today planning to dedicate its latest civic improvement, a set of picnic tables at Lincoln Park, to the use of Pittsburg and all her guests who use the park. The fact that the tables are already extensively in use although barely finished, indicates that the club's offering will be appreciated. A watermelon “feed,“ together with the regular weekly Kiwanis program, will form the basis of the program at the park tonight.
