Last week I wrote about the Rope Ferry at Marysville, KS and how many trails crossed the river there. The trail was the one used by the OTOE Indians who used this trail along the Big Blue from 1871 to 1881, seeking new lands in Indian Territory. By 1882 they had been removed to a reservation near Red Rock, OK. It ran from Barnston, NE to Red Rock, OK.
