The first official bet at Caesars Sportsbook inside the Kansas Crossing Casino had a local flavor. Dave Looby, executive director for Explore Crawford County, bet $100 for Pittsburg State to win the Division II football national championship this fall. He received 8-1 odds with a special line with Caesars and the oddsmakers.
