There have been drag races at Mo-Kan Dragway near Ashbury, Mo., for 60 years, and on July 15 and 16, it may be the largest motorsports event in the four-state area in a long time. “This aims to be the biggest motorsports event in the Joplin area in decades,” said Nitro Chaos promoter Chris Graves. Nitro Chaos will be the headliner for the 60th anniversary drag racing event at Mo-Kan dragway.
