Another day, another award for Kolby Dougan. Dougan, 5-foot-11, 180-pound right-hander for Pittsburg State, is the NCAA Division II national pitcher of the week, announced Thursday by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers of America. He received pitching laurels from the MIAA on Monday and the Central Region on Wednesday -- both for the second consecutive week.
