Pittsburg State catcher Grant Nottlemann has been named to the NCAA Division II Central Region all-defensive team, the American Baseball Coaches Association announced Thursday.

Nottlemann, a senior from Lincoln, Neb., did not make an error in 242 chances – 223 putouts and 19 assists. He threw out 10 baserunners attempting to steal.

He also was good offensively, batting .376 with 71 hits, 58 runs, 13 doubles, five home runs and 55 runs batted in. He also walked 54 times and was successful on 15-of-16 stolen base attempts.

Nottlemann also was named to the MIAA Gold Glove team and was the first team all-conference catcher.
