Magic Reliford and Albert McBride combined for 41 points as Pittsburg State held off Harris-Stowe 80-75 Tuesday night on Whetzel Court inside John Lance Arena. The Gorillas (2-3) led almost the entire game against the NAIA Hornets (0-5), including 50-32 at halftime and 62-48 after McBride's 3-pointer from the left corner. But the Hornets (0-6) refused to quit, and they took a 73-71 lead on Jamarric Hammond's layup with four minutes left.
