In last Thursday’s quarterfinal game against Missouri Southern, the Lions’ Reese Webb scored on the inside almost one minute into the game. Pittsburg State moved the ball up the floor, and guard Harper Schreiner hit a 3-point goal from the left wing for a 3-2 lead. Those 14 seconds before Schreiner’s trey represent the only time that the Gorillas trailed in the entire tournament.
