Tucker Harrell had to watch as his St. Mary’s Colgan team fell in the sectional round to St. Marys last year. After suffering a collarbone injury in the Panthers’ win against Jayhawk-Linn, Harrell was out for the game and the Panthers saw their season end in a 38-12 loss to the Bears. Three hundred sixty-three days later, the Panthers were up against the Bears again, and Harrell was not going to let it happen again, scoring on a 1-yard touchdown run on the opening drive and scoring three rushing touchdowns to help the Panthers roll to a 33-8 victory in St. Marys on Friday, knocking out the defending state champions and advancing to Class 1A sub-state.
