PITTSBURG, Kan. — As the new year gets underway, the Pittsburg Public Library has announced a variety of programs and events planned for the month of January and beyond. The library’s next Story Time session starts Monday, Jan. 9, and continues through Wednesday, Feb. 22, with programs planned for Mondays at 6 p.m. and Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 10 a.m. PPL will also be hosting the “Snow Many Books” winter reading challenge for adults, starting today, Jan. 3, and continuing through Feb. 28. Read any library book of your choice during this time period, fill out an entry blank for each title, and return them to the reference desk on the second floor.
