Stanley L. Forrest Sr., age 84, of Pittsburg, Kansas, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 28, 2025. Stanley was born to William and Una (Jones) Forrest on May 6, 1941, in Mulberry, Kansas. He was proud to make his career as a train conductor, working for the Frisco Railroad (later bought out by Burlington Northern Santa Fe), the job from which he retired.
