Judith Ellen Soucy, 86 of Pittsburg, passed away Sept. 30, 2026, at the Autumn Place in Columbus, KS.

She was born Feb. 4, 1940, in Pittsburg, the daughter of Phillip Edward Munn, Sr. and Anna May (Thurman) Munn.

She attended area schools and graduated from the Pittsburg High School with the Class of 1958.

On Sept. 19, 1959, she was united in marriage to Joseph Robert Soucy, Jr. in Salina, KS; they later divorced.

Judy was a military spouse for 17 years, she they began a longtime career at Kansas Teachers Credit Union as a loan officer spanning 30 years retiring from there in 2005, she later worked part-time for Shelter Insurance, finally retiring in 2020 at the age of 80.

Survivors include a son: Kent (Glenda) Soucy of Columbus, KS; two daughters: Kelly (Todd) Trammell of Pittsburg and Kerry (Rick) Martin of Tulsa, OK; two sisters: Gloria Ann (Carl) Morey of Abilene, TX and Alice Walters of Frontenac, KS; sister-in-law Lita Smith-Munn of Joplin, MO; 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Brother Phillip Edward Munn, Jr. and a brother-in-law Calvin Walters.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2026, at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in Pittsburg with Pastor Duane Elmore officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories. Family will receive friends one hour before the services from 10am to 11am. Memorials may be made to Quilts of Valor; these may be left at or mailed to the funeral home.
