Just over 50 Northeast Elementary, Middle School, and High School students gathered within the elementary’s gymnasium Friday morning to receive their certificates from the district’s three principals — Kerstin Womble, Chris Hattabaugh, and Russ Cramer. As part of the ceremony, the students received recognition for their efforts in the state assessments, either leveling up or maintaining a level four, the highest achievement in state testing for the subjects of math, science, and English language arts.
