PITTSBURG, Kan. — The Pittsburg State University Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Student Chapter held its annual Four State HRD Conference Friday – a day full of learning, networking, and inspiration. Held at the Overman Student Center, human resource professionals along with current and former PSU students gathered in the Overman Student Center Ballrooms for an event aimed at empowering HR professionals to enhance performance and personal development. “So, our HRD (human resource development) programs at Pitt State, we started hosting a conference as a way to bring in area business and people in HR to start collaborating, working together because we have such incredible businesses in our community,” said Assistant Instructional Professor of Human Resource Development Krissy Lewis.
