Truck crashes into house

PITTSBURG, Kan. — Early Friday morning, a truck crashed into a house on Smith Street, according to the Pittsburg Police Department.

At approximately 5:52 a.m., police officers were dispatched to 410 N. Smith Street where a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado struck the southwest side of the residence. The driver, 26-year-old Javier Canales Salas, sustained some injuries and was transported to Mercy Pittsburg Hospital. One occupant of the home was not injured.
