PITTSBURG, Kan. — Pittsburg Police conducted more traffic stops last week than the week prior, while the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office conducted less. From Nov. 24 to 30, police conducted 169 traffic stops, a 116 percent increase from the previous week. The department also responded to 213 calls for service, engaged in 198 officer self-initiated activities, made 13 arrests and took 45 reports.
