PITTSBURG, Kan. — On Tuesday night, faculty of the Pittsburg State University Department of Art along with students and community members gathered at the Harry Krug Gallery at Porter Hall for a special reception to open its newest gallery. The department hosted artist Steven Head, who displayed his artwork dubbed “The Family Secrets.” Since starting his professional art career in 2012, has won numerous awards for his artwork and is recognized around the United States as well as internationally. Head had a virtual reality (VR) exhibit offered in recent years in which he showcased his exhibit to children from the Ukraine through Oculus.
