FARLINGTON, Kan. — A slight breeze, very few clouds, good company, and a refreshing drink in hand, what sounds better? Conditions were ideal during Friday’s “Music on the Patio” event hosted by the Friends of Crawford State Park.
From the sound of waves to the sound of music, the weekly event is free to attend for park users and the local community. The series at the Lake View Cafe, 2 W. Lake Rd. features musicians from across the Four-State area.
Last week, attendees heard Ty Ellis, a Red Dirt Country artist based out of Pittsburg. This week, at 6 p.m. on Friday, May 22, Music on the Patio is set to host Stone Country, a country/rock band from the southeast Kansas area.
