PITTSBURG, Kan. — The social work program at Pittsburg State University had its biannual exhibition of community projects earlier this week on the second floor of Russ Hall. The event showcases the research projects completed by PSU graduates over the semester. The students described a variety of projects designed to address needs and social issues in the surrounding communities from poverty to food insecurity to mental health to substance abuse serving the economically disadvantaged, unhoused, college students, shelter animals, and those battling addictions.
