FARLINGTON, Kan. — The summer camping season begins this weekend at Crawford State Park and state parks across Kansas on a budget-friendly note. Visitors to Farlington Lake, where temps are expected around 70, will be admitted free. On Saturday, all state parks including Crawford State Park are offering free entry, meaning those looking to spend the weekend at the lake do not need a vehicle permit to enter on that day.
