PITTSBURG, Kan. — Pittsburg citizens gathered to share ideas on how to clean up the community Thursday night at the Homer Cole Center, as part of the first step in Mayor Dr. Ronald Seglie’s Spruce Up Pittsburg plan. “We’re here tonight for ideas that eventually lead to solutions,” Seglie said at the start of the discussion. “We’re not here to gripe or complain.” Seglie went onto explain that the purpose of this community meeting was to gather information, so that the city can take the problems and ideas and implement ways to clean up Pittsburg.
