PITTSBURG, Kan. — Tuesday evening, Pittsburg city commissioners were given an after-action report on last Thursday’s Spruce Up Pittsburg planning event at the Homer Cole Center by Sarah Runyon, the city’s public information officer. According to Runyon, the planning event asked citizens what clean up Pittsburg means to them as individuals, what are the problems within their geographic areas, and what ideas did they have to share. Runyon said people provided “very constructive feedback and innovative ideas.” Runyon said she is still digging into the ideas and feedback collected, but was able to provide some preliminary insights.
