PITTSBURG, Kan. — Late Sunday morning, during their regular drill weekend, the soldiers of the 1011th Quartermaster Company, US Army Reserve, hosted the Eagle Rising Challenge at Pittsburg State University. According to Sergeant First Class Jeremy Kelly, this is the first year of the challenge, but he said he would like it to become an annual event. Part of a family day event, the reservists brought their wives and children out to test their mettle with some of the physical challenges required of US soldiers.
