PITTSBURG, Kan. — Students of St. Mary’s Colgan (SMC) will once again show the public their skills in theatre with their upcoming production of “Fiddler on the Roof Jr.,” which will be held on Saturday. “Fiddler on the Roof Jr.” is a different adaptation of the classic musical, while still displaying themes of tradition that can cross the divide between nationality, race, class, and religion. SMC held a special showing of the play Wednesday evening to commemorate a former student, Payton Kannarr, who passed away from leukemia in 2019.
