PITTSBURG, Kan. — The Republican president of the Kansas Senate made a stop on the Pittsburg State campus Thursday evening at the invite of the PSU Campus Republicans. Masterson spoke to a crowd of about two dozen about his blue-collar background as a home builder, family man and grandfather. Campaigning for the GOP nomination to the governor’s mansion, Masterson is a long-time veteran of Topeka.
