CHEROKEE, Kan. — Wednesday served as one of the last gatherings of the Southeast High School Class of 2026, as three seniors are planning to graduate at the conclusion of the semester. To honor the full class, Southeast High School held its second-ever candle lighting ceremony in the school’s “new” gymnasium. Teachers, administration, parents, and friends gathered to celebrate the senior students along with a few teachers.
