SCAMMON, Kan. — It's that time of year again, when scores of volunteers from St. Bridget Catholic Church meet at the parish hall in Scammon to hold their annual cookie sale. Scheduled to take place from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Dec. 13, the event returns for its 23rd year at the St. Bridget Parish Hall, located at the intersection of 4th St. and N. Keith St. in Scammon. Touted as the “most anticipated cookie sale in the area,” the event offers residents the chance to purchase a wide variety of cookies, pastries, and cakes to help just in time for the holidays.
