Safehouse Crisis Center receives funds from state

PITTSBURG, Kan. — More than $1.6 million has been awarded to Kansas to help support victims of domestic violence and increase parents’ visitation time with children. Gov. Laura Kelly announced the award from the Federal Health and Human Services for the Family Violence Prevention and Services Act (FVPSA) and the Federal State Access and Visitation Program (SAVP) on Monday.
