PITTSBURG, Kan. — As a conclusion to their junior level studio course, six students in Pittsburg State University’s interior design program on Thursday evening presented their layout plans for Japan Karate-Do Genbu-Kai, a local martial arts school. Dojo owner Jim Otter said the space the school occupies was once the Kansas Teacher’s Credit Union, and now that he owns the building, he wants to do some updates to it. “We are at the point where we would like to do some modifications,” he said.
