PITTSBURG, Kan. — After an announcement this week by Pittsburg State University’s Kelce College of Business of plans to move classes to a new facility in downtown, citizens have flooded social media with questions and concerns. Many were concerned about the effect the new project would have on parking in the downtown area and travel time between classes for students, and some questioned what impact it will have on fixtures in the neighborhood such as the Colonial Fox Theatre and BMO-Harris Bank. Vonnie Corsini, executive director of the Colonial Fox Theatre Foundation, said she is very excited and optimistic about collaborating with the College of Business.
