PITTSBURG, Kan. — The Japan Karate-do Genbu-kai of Pittsburg will be hosting their 48th annual karate tournament and seminars May 2-4, 2025. A karate tournament will be held on Saturday, May 3rd at the St. Mary's Colgan Fieldhouse in Pittsburg, Kansas. This is a traditional invitational karate tournament with 125-150 competitors regionally and throughout the United States competing in kata (forms), kumite (sparring), kobudo (Okinawan weapons), and batto (Japanese sword).
