Masons from 5-Star Masonry out of Meriden, Kansas, work to top-out the north side of the grand staircase at Pittsburg Community Middle School. With the south side already at height, the crew will begin placing the capstones along the top of the wall. The near-completion of the staircase is a sign the remodel of the building is also nearing completion. School officials expect to be in the building at the beginning of the school year.
