PITTSBURG, Kan. — Pittsburg Area Young Professionals (PAYP) volunteers delivered 74 bicycles to Crawford County children from low-income families on Dec. 20. This year marks the fifth Christmas that PAYP has partnered with The Salvation Army to give select children a big gift of wheels for the holiday. But despite raising just as much money as last year, if not more, the organization could not purchase as many bicycles and helmets as they did the previous year.
