PITTSBURG, Kan. — On Monday, Sept. 19, the Pittsburg Fire Department responded to a report of a residential structure fire at 1013 E. 4th St. According to the fire department, the fire started in a shed attached to the north side of the home, and migrated to the attic space. Upon arrival, firefighters encountered heavy fire conditions, but ultimately contained and extinguished the fire.
