PITTSBURG, Kan. — Public meetings regarding increases to fees at Kansas state parks are scheduled within the next few months. The closest meeting to the Pittsburg area is in Paola. The Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks (KDWP) will host five public meetings from now until December to share information and listen to feedback about the proposed state park price changes.
